My name is Marios Andreou. I am a fully qualified, fully registered and experienced Psychotherapist and an Associate Psychotherapist at Therapy Unlimited.

My Approach

I am committed in helping you to understand the emotional and psychological impact your experiences are having on you and the effect they have on your life. I provide a calm, safe and confidential space where together we can talk through what you’re going through in order that you increase your understanding and insight, and identify the different choices you have which can empower you to discover new solutions and feel better.

Much of my work involves helping people experiencing anxiety and depression due to a variety of reasons and in supporting them move towards creating a more satisfying and fulfilling life for themselves.

My Background

II have worked in both private and organisational settings through my career and have gained specialist experience in certain areas, including disability and health issues, sexual violation, unwanted changes in life and addiction. I have worked people from many different backgrounds, including extensive work with the LGBTQ+ community. I can work with people in both a short and long-term basis, and have many years of experience working with individuals remotely in a therapeutic capacity..

My Qualifications & Registration

I completed my counselling and psychotherapy training in London at the New School of Psychotherapy and Counselling (NSPC), and I have completed additional specialist training in offering therapy remotely and online.

I have successfully achieved the following qualifications:

  MA Existential Counselling and Psychotherapy
  Certificate in Online Counselling Skills

I am UKCP registered and follow the UKCP code of ethics. I am also a Registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a member of the Association for Therapy Online (ACTO). I am committed to continued personal and professional development and attend clinical supervision as part of best practice
